How to apply
After making sure you are eligible for applying and decided to which department you want to apply to, make sure you have all the following forms to upload:
1.Immunization form+results (please make sure to follow ALL the instructions on the form)
2. Letter of good standing
3. Curriculum Vitae (CV)
4. Copy of passport
5. Vaccination approval for Covid-19
Please make sure to upload all documents clear and as PDF or WORD files.
Make sure the payment has been sent
Applications will be reviewed only after a payment has been approved.
Incomplete application material including uploads will not be handled or processed.
Please consider that entering to Israel require quarantine, for more information you can email us.
Vaccinations

You need a Polio and Tdap vaccine from when you were 18 or older.
-
You need 2 doses of MMR or titers for Measles, Mumps and Rubella.

You need 3 doses and a titer of Hepatitis B.

You need 2 PPD tests or IGRA (QuantiFERON) or CXR. It has to be from minimum 24 months prior to your required time of arrival.

HCV antibodies from 12 months prior to your required time of arrival.

3 doses of Covid-19 Vaccines.
Make sure your General Physician has reviewed and signed the following document:
And attach the scanned file and necessary results.
Only completed documents will be accepted!
Letter of good standing
A letter written in English, from your medical school, stating your status as a medical student in your clinical years.
Only clinical students can apply.

Student's visa is not required. Tourists visa is suitable.

*Please be aware that during Covid-19 pandemic you will need a student's visa.
Step 1 - Payment
In order to proceed with the payment please contact our department at the following email - jsms.hadassah@mail.huji.ac.il.
Please be informed the payment is through PayPal.

Application fee's are 20 euro's. (Must be paid upon registration. Not refundable)

1 week of elective (at least 4 days work) is 100 euro's.
**Students who are on exchange program through university agreements are exempt from this fee.
Step 2 - Application Timetable

All applications should be submitted at least 3 months before arrival day ! (Not negotiable).

Applications should not be submitted more than 10 months in advance.

Applications are reviewed within 2 weeks after payment has been approved and application submitted.

An acceptance letter will be sent upon approval from the departments, this should take up to two months.

The work week in Israel is Sunday- Thursday, please apply accordingly.

Please refrain from applying on the following dates:

October 2-4 (Rosh Hashanah)
October 11-12 (Yom Kippur)
October 16-25 (Sukkot)
December 25 - January 2 (2025) (Chanukah)
During 2025-
March 13-14 (Purim)
April 12-20 (Passover)
May 16 (Lag B'Omer)
June 1-3 (Shavuot)
